Colin began his own wellness journey when he was first introduced to Yoga in 2018 . The huge health benefits that he felt from this practice inspired him to study this for himself in Sri Lanka in 2020, enabling him to teach various styles of Yoga such as Power, Vinyasa and Yin.
Since, he has been teaching both online and in-person Yoga classes. His advanced studies in Yoga and Anatomy, alongside regular teaching allowed Colin to develop a much deeper understanding of the body and its relationship with the breath, mind and movement, and overtime this naturally progressed to him becoming a stretch therapist.
Colin is passionate about sharing his knowledge with all of his clients, to help them gain a better understanding of their own bodies in order to improve their performance, prevent injuries, and acheive optimal recovery.
During your stretch with Colin, he will allow your body’s intuition to lead the way, he pays attention to vital signs such as your breath pattern, body language and uses touch to determine the range and intensity level of your stretch. He aims to gently create space in your body using the breath as a tool to support this.
Often confronted with clients who have various mobility issues, Colin uses his knowledge and skill to not only shift things in the body but also in the mind, reminding clients of what is possible through the mind, body, breath connection.
